As part of the NBN rollout, multiple locations across the country required power for NBN infrastructure, such as antennas and satellites. These projects in rural areas are often remote, making access to electrical infrastructure difficult. The project at Rannock is one of several NBN projects Simplex Engineering has been a part of. Typically these projects require network extension to the site, and supply to the equipment provided through a substation.
